Eid ul Adha celebration in Bangladesh 2011




Eid-ul-Adha ('festival of Sacrifice'), also known as the Greater Eid, is the second most important festival in the Muslim calendar. The festival remembers the prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son when God ordered him to.

The Muslim community of Bangladesh will celebrate the Edi-UL-Adha in 7th November 2011. In this days the Whole Dhaka became a Animal market place. Peoples are buying the cow or goat according to there ability. In this year the cow price is higher then other years because living cost is increasing day by day. The cattle businessmen told that the cattle food cost is increasing. As a result price of cattle is little higher than previous year.

A CONTRACT SIGNED WITH RUSSIA FOR ATOMIC ENERGY PLANT IN RUPPUR


For establishing atomic energy plant in Ruppur a contract signed with Russia on Wednesday in Prime Minister Office. Science and Information and Communication minister Yeasef Osman signed On behalf of Bangladesh. According to the deed Ruppur Atomic energy plant can produce about 2000 megawatt electricity. Russia helps in establishment, structural and human resource in this plant. Atomic energy plant cost is lower than that of coal or gas based electric plant.

BPSE annouced 30th BCS results on 2 Novembor 2011




The Bangladesh Public Service Commission(BPSE) has announced the final results of the 30th BCS examination. The PSC has recommended appointment of 2,367 of the 5,810 candidates clearing the final hurdle. Out of the 2,367 candidates getting recommendations, 1,623 are male and 744 female. Decision on 13 other candidates' recommendations is yet to be taken due to 'complexities over information' and other administrative reasons.

The preliminary test was held on July 30 2010, and the written and viva-voce in several phases this year.

HAJJ PACKAGE 2011 in Bangladesh

Each year Bangladeshi Muslims travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. One of the primary mandates of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) is to provide various support services to these pilgrims. In this year 2011 total 1,20,000 pilgrims are expected to perform Hajj program. From this 5000 are on govt management and 115000 on non govt. management. On govt management they cost about 259042(without food and Qurbani cost). They also have to take extra 1500 SR(BDT 30000).
